USU Charter Federal Credit Union (USUCCU) offers SMS mobile banking as a FREE service. A data service plan is not required to use this text banking service; however text messaging fees and charges (check with your mobile phone carrier) may apply.
By applying for or using USUCCU Mobile Banking you agree to USU Charter Federal Credit Union’s Mobile Banking Agreement.
Mobile Finance Manager (MFM) App Banking Terms and Conditions
As a Web Teller user, you can now use Mobile Finance Manager (MFM) App banking to:
- Check account balances and view your transaction history
- Transfer funds between your USU Charter Federal Credit Union accounts
By applying for or using USUCCU Mobile Banking you agree to USU Charter Federal Credit Union’s Mobile Banking Agreement. Depending on your data service plan, you may be charged an access fee. Please check with your service provider for details on specific fees and charges.
Wireless Application Protocol (WAP) Terms and Conditions
As a Web Teller user, you can now use Wireless Application Protocol (WAP) banking to:
- Check account balances and view your transaction history
- Transfer funds between your USU Charter Federal Credit Union accounts
By applying for or using USUCCU Mobile Banking you agree to USU Charter Federal Credit Union’s Mobile Banking Agreement. Depending on your data service plan, you may be charged an access fee. Please check with your service provider for details on specific fees and charges.
USU Charter Federal Credit Union Mobile Banking Agreement
Accepting this Agreement.
By using USU Charter Federal Credit Union (USUCCU) Mobile Banking via Short Message Service (SMS), Mobile Finance Manager (MFM) App and/or Wireless Application Protocol (WAP) Banking you agree to the terms of this Agreement.
You agree that USUCCU may request from you at any time your electronic banking credentials. You acknowledge that USUCCU may implement risk control mechanisms and may contact authorities when suspicious account activity or member security-related events occur. USUCCU reserves the right to modify the scope of its mobile banking services at any time and may refuse to make any transaction you request through mobile banking when it has a valid reason for refusing the request. You agree and understand that USUCCU Mobile Banking may not be accessible or may have limited utility over some mobile networks, such as roaming.
Access to and use of the USUCCU Mobile Banking service is subject to all federal, state and local laws and regulations. Unauthorized use of the USUCCU Mobile Banking service or information accessed through the service is strictly prohibited and will result in termination of services.
Description of Mobile Banking Services.
USUCCU Mobile Banking refers generally to any service that allows a USUCCU member to access and view his/her USUCCU accounts from a cell phone or handheld device. The USUCCU Mobile Banking service includes SMS text banking, MFM App banking and WAP banking.
SMS text banking requires you to have a text-enabled mobile device. Internet access is not needed on your mobile device to use text banking. Using text banking you can check account balances, view your transaction history and transfer funds between your USU Charter Federal Credit Union accounts.
The MFM App is a downloadable mobile banking program that resides directly on your enabled mobile device. Using the MFM program application allows you to check account balances, view your transaction history and transfer funds between your USU Charter Federal Credit Union accounts.
The WAP banking service requires Internet access on your mobile device. Using WAP banking allows you to check account balances, view your transaction history and transfer funds between your USU Charter Federal Credit Union accounts.
Use of Services.
You accept responsibility for making sure that you understand how to use USUCCU Mobile Banking including any related software before you use this service. You agree to use USUCCU Mobile Banking in accordance with the online instructions posted on our website. We may change or upgrade USUCCU Mobile Banking from time to time. In the event of such changes or upgrades, you are responsible for making sure that you understand how to use USUCCU Mobile Banking as changed or upgraded.
We will not be liable to you for any losses caused by your failure to properly use USUCCU Mobile Banking or your mobile device. From time to time, USUCCU may develop additional mobile banking services. When such services are developed, you will have the opportunity to add them to your USUCCU Mobile Banking Service, provided you have a compatible mobile device and software.
Relationship to Other Agreements.
When using USUCCU Mobile Banking services you agree that the terms and conditions of this Agreement, the Membership Agreement Disclosures & Privacy Notice and all other existing agreements with us and our affiliates will apply. If this Agreement is inconsistent with any other USUCCU agreement the terms of this Agreement shall apply. You also agree that you will continue to be subject to your existing agreements with any unaffiliated services providers, including, but not limited, your mobile service carrier or provider and that this agreement does not amend or supersede any of those agreements. You agree that only your mobile service carrier or provider is responsible for its products and services and that your mobile service carrier is not the provider of USUCCU Mobile Banking. Accordingly, you agree to resolve any problems with your carrier or provider directly with your carrier or provider without involving USUCCU. You understand and agree that some wireless service providers and/or wireless carriers may charge fees and apply limitations and/or restrictions which might impact your use of mobile banking services (for example your mobile service carrier or provider may charge data usage fees or text charges for your use or interaction with mobile banking services including downloading the software, receiving or sending mobile banking text messages or other use of your wireless device when using the software or other products and services provided by mobile banking). You expressly agree that you are solely responsible for all such fees, limitations and restrictions; and that USUCCU may contact you via your wireless device for any purpose concerning your USUCCU accounts, including account servicing and collection purposes.
Use of Data.
USUCCU and our service providers will use information you provide for purposes of providing USUCCU Mobile Banking and to prepare analyses and compilations of aggregate member data that does not identify you (such as the number of members who signed up for USUCCU Mobile Banking in a month).
Your Obligations.
When using mobile banking you agree:
(i) to be responsible for protecting your user name, password, PIN and any other required authentication (such as challenge questions/answers), (ii) to be responsible for protecting the security of the device(s) you use to access USUCCU Mobile Banking, (iii) to notify us AT ONCE if you believe your account has been accessed without your authority, (iv) that if USUCCU is notified that you have included the Credit Union in a bankruptcy filing, USUCCU may revoke or refuse USUCCU Mobile Banking service as well as other services, (v) that you are the legal owner of the USUCCU account and other financial information which may be accessed by mobile banking, (vi) that all information you provide to USUCCU regarding mobile banking is current, accurate and complete and that you have the right to provide the information to USUCCU for the purpose of using USUCCU Mobile Banking services, and (vii) not to misrepresent your identity or your account information.
Mobile Banking Services Limitations.
Neither USUCCU nor our service providers can always foresee or anticipate technical or other difficulties related to USUCCU Mobile Banking. These difficulties may result in loss of data, personalization settings or other Mobile Banking interruptions.
Neither USUCCU nor any of our service providers assumes responsibility for the operation, security, functionality or availability of any mobile device or mobile network which you utilize to access USUCCU Mobile Banking.
You agree to exercise caution when utilizing the USUCCU Mobile Banking application on your mobile device and to use good judgment and discretion when obtaining or transmitting information.
Transfer and payment information available via the USUCCU Mobile Banking software may differ from the information that is available directly through Web Teller. Information available directly through Web Teller may not be available via the USUCCU Mobile Banking software and may be described using different terminology. The method of entering instructions via the USUCCU Mobile Banking software also may differ from the method of entering instructions through Web Teller. USUCCU is not responsible for such differences, whether or not attributable to your use of the USUCCU Mobile Banking software. Additionally, you agree that neither USUCCU nor our service providers will be liable for any errors or delays in the content, or for any actions taken in reliance thereon.
Changes or Cancellation.
You may cancel your participation in USUCCU Mobile Banking at any time.
To cancel your participation in WAP, clear the cookies from your mobile browser and discontinue your use of USUCCU Mobile Banking at usuccu.org and through the USUCCU Mobile Banking link at usuccu.org.
To delete the MFM app, refer to the instructions for deleting a mobile application for your specific mobile device.
USUCCU reserves the right to change or cancel mobile banking at any time without notice. USUCCU may also suspend your access to USUCCU Mobile Banking at any time without notice and for any reason, including but not limited to, your non-use of mobile banking. You agree that USUCCU will not be liable to you or any third party for any modification or discontinuance of USUCCU Mobile Banking.
