Health Savings Accounts (HSAs)

An HSA is an interest-bearing account set up through the credit union that allows you to use tax-exempt contributions to pay for qualified medical expenses. USU Charter Credit Union offers HSAs to offset the rising costs of medical care for employers and individuals who have high-deductible health plans (HDHPs). While an HDHP features more affordable monthly premiums, high deductibles for unexpected treatment can put a family or individual outside of their budget. Our HSAs offer a healthy return on investment and are as easy to use as a checking account. What’s more, you won’t pay administrative or setup fees.
