NCUA Insurance

The funds deposited in your USU Charter Federal Credit Union accounts are insured by the National Credit Union Administration (NCUA). Your regular share accounts are insured up to $250,000 and your IRA account is separately insured up to $250,000.

This means your accounts are backed by the full faith and credit of the United States government.
