The Student Finance Center on the USU Charter Credit Union web
site is intended to offer financial education and services to young
people of precollege and college ages. The goal is to provide entry
into the financial world and progress in the development of a young
person's financial life.
Where to begin:
We encourage the college student to begin with Credit
Union membership and open a Free checking account which includes
a debit card, no limit on transactions or check clearings, and free
access to all automated and web services.
High school age students begin with the SmartMoney
program.
Children under the age of 13 can begin with a Moolah
Savings account.
The Student Finance Center will provide information and tools for
learning about and using various financial options. Information
on other credit union financial services is also available through
the Student Finance Center. And, any student specials will be posted
here.
